About the NGO

Jeevan Jyoti Samaj Sewa Sansthan is a Twenty years old non-profit organization working on Grass root level in the field of Exhibition / Workshop and Book Fair & Seminar with the assistance of National Book Trust ,Govt. of India, Promotion of Urdu Language for minority and other communities in civil society and WSHG members, working as Udyamy Mitra ,Cluster Development Agency, Empowerment of women and networking of the poor as its prime goal and objective. Empowerment can be one of the basic that can enable SHGs. to improve their conditions through socio-economic development programs. The Organization proposes to reach the deprived marginalized or isolated segments of the society and target them as a priority by finding our way into remote & rural areas to identify the poorest segments of communities who are normally excluded and deprived from development processes because of their isolation, lack of assets and awareness. Organization has vast experience of organizing training programs for the rural development of Minorities, Deprived women and isolated segment of the society. Organization used to organize Exhibition and awareness programs for the sale of the products of WSHGs. for their sustainable socio- economic development.

Jeevan Jyoti Samaj Sewa Sansthan was established in 1994 by some dedicated grass root workers, inspired by crippling situation of Raebareli district and to combat the backwardness of the area especially in the field of unemployment and rural development. With the establishment a constructive struggle was initiated at grass root level by starting a training centres of fancy jute bags for women of under privileged class in Raebareli and Barabanki. In due course of time, by analyzing literacy and amenities data of Uttar Pradesh, it was felt that there are certain more deprived and undeveloped areas where evils like child labour, and other social evils are in common practice. Now Our Sansthan is focusing on sustainable development along with its primary target of eradication of poverty especially in remote areas .

Jeevan Jyoti Samaj Sewa Sansthan is having trained, skilled and experienced Human Resource for handling the projects of larger turn over. Organization is capable of handling large funds with very skillfully because of trained accountant and staff and a registered Chartered Accountant . The audited statement of last three years is attached with the expression of interest. Increasing trends of turn over and good rapport in the area automatically indicates that Jeevan Jyoti Samaj Sewa Sansthan is having appropriate managerial and financial staff to manage the funds properly. Jeevan Jyoti Samaj Sewa Sansthan maintains Cashbook, Ledger, Account book for individual project, daybook and all the vouchers. Most of the purchases made through a purchase committee after inviting proper tenders.

Jeevan Jyoti Samaj Sewa Sansthan is a voluntary social organization (JJSSS) is a well reputed organization working from 1994 in the sector of sustainable rural development .JJSSS is non profit organization working with the mandate for humane social order based on truth ,justice, freedom and equality .JJSSS works for development ,cleanliness and sanitation ,Education and Awareness across the state .JJSSS has set its thematic focus on promoting the youths for cleanliness and sanitation as change maker for “Maintain cleanliness , to gain health and happiness”.

As we know in world 3.4 million people , mostly children die from disease associated with inadequate water supply , hygiene and sanitation .They are suffering from Diarrohea ,& dehydration and other many diseases .
Keeping clean & disposing of human wastes are necessary for good health ..Hygiene means personal cleanliness where as Sanitation is public cleanliness such as using clean safe toilets ,keeping water sources clean and disposing of garbage .Diseases can be prevented by changing personal habits or behaviours about staying clean .When communities use hygiene & sanitation methods.

Cleanliness describes a neat environment without the presence of dirt or bad odor (transparency).where as SANITATION is the complete removal of bacteria or organisms that are known to harm the environment they reproduce in.Cleanliness is next to godliness .”
Sanitation is the hygienic means of promoting health through prevention of human contact with the hazards of wastes as well as the treatment and proper disposal of sewage waste water.
